Grand Fitness Mgmt, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Assist Members: Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club, providing assistance with any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Promote a Positive Experience: Help to promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and showing support in their fitness journeys.
  • Resolve Member Concerns: Resolve member concerns and escalate to a manager as needed to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform Membership Functions: Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, contact information updates, cancellations, collecting unpaid balances, and transferring memberships.
  • Execute Retail Transactions: Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Regularly clean and sanitize all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and assigned areas.
  • Ensure Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free by following the routine cleaning schedule.
  • Perform Safety and Maintenance Checks: Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all club areas, quickly fix any safety or policy issues, and address cleanliness concerns.
  • Address Maintenance Concerns: Promptly address maintenance and facility concerns such as broken or missing equipment.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • CPR/AED Certification: Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Grand Fitness Mgmt, LLC).
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency is required.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing and Moving: Continual standing and moving throughout the club to accomplish tasks during shift.
  • Communicating: Continual communicating in person or on the phone to exchange information during shift.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Toxic Chemicals: Will encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Moving and Bending: Moving self in different positions, including bending and twisting, to accomplish tasks.
