Position Overview

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment within the healthcare facility. This position involves executing daily cleaning tasks as assigned, adhering to the established protocols set forth by the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts routine cleaning operations in patient, public, and communal areas following prescribed cleaning methods.
  • Implements discharge cleaning procedures in patient rooms, ensuring readiness for subsequent admissions.
  • Facilitates room setup and modifications as required.
  • Maintains cleanliness and functionality of cleaning equipment in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Reports any maintenance needs for equipment, furniture, or building fixtures to the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping or environmental services.

Additionally, candidates must provide:

  • Two professional reference letters from supervisors within the last two years.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening.
  • Results from a TB test.
  • Proof of all required vaccinations, including Tdap, Covid, Flu, MMR, Hep B, and Varicella.
