Nesco Resource is actively seeking a skilled CNC Operator for a prominent client.
Shift Details:
Evening shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday (Overtime may be required based on production demands).
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $19.50.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections and complete the work cell checklist.
- Perform routine maintenance and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Change or rotate indexable cutting inserts in lathes as necessary.
- Replace end mills, drills, and taps in machining centers at required intervals.
- Initiate cutting of parts following tool changes.
- Utilize variable gauges to measure parts accurately.
- Adjust dimensions as needed by making offsets.
- Verify part specifications post-adjustment through measurement.
- Document part dimensions periodically on audit forms.
- Load raw materials onto the part stocker.
- Inspect and package finished parts at the production line's end.
- Complete production reports to track output.
- Reset machines following brief stoppages.
- Monitor part quality throughout the shift.
- Report any machine or quality concerns to the supervisor.
