About the Role

At St. Luke's Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Developmental Pediatrics team. As an LPN in this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient experiences and contributing to the growth and development of our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and Referral Management: You will be responsible for triaging referrals, including lab and rehab partners, to ensure timely and effective care for our patients.
  • Prior Authorization and Tracking: You will process and track prior authorizations to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Medication Refills and Coordination: You will collaborate with pharmacies and families to facilitate medication refills and ensure continuity of care.
  • Patient Rooming and Coordination: You will assist with rooming patients for clinic visits with physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with the clinical and administrative team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in healthcare operations.
Qualifications
  • Education: You must have graduated from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Certifications: You must hold current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and be licensed as an LPN in the State of Practice.
