Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services. This role requires extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, as well as experience with mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment. A graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT and current State Nuclear Medicine License are required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality imaging services in support of the Radiologist
  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Process and transmit images to PACS
Qualifications
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required
