Assembly Specialist

As a Final Assembler at Crystal Group, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly/integration of materials, devices, and products in accordance with drawings, SOPs, and other written documentation. Your duties will include assembling products or sub-assemblies by following drawings, diagrams, or work instructions, operating hand and power tools and production equipment to build specified products, and maintaining general tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products or sub-assemblies by following drawings, diagrams, or work instructions.
- Operate hand and power tools and production equipment to build specified products.
- Maintain general tools and equipment.
- Prioritize work according to verbal direction, or by following the Production Schedule and work towards customer ship dates and internal goals.
- Communicate with team members, engineering, sales, and other departments within the company to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Conform with ESD policy and safety procedures.
- The goal for this individual is to have zero OBF's to the performance of their job function.
Requirements:
- Education: High School degree or equivalent required. Associates degree in computer hardware related field preferred.
- Experience: Three years of experience in hardware field. Ability to build a computer from the ground-up is helpful.
- Physical: Walks, stands, occasional seated position at the computer. Must be able to manipulate small objects and visually scrutinize hardware.
- Miscellaneous: May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Employment Requirements:
- Employment is contingent upon passing a required background screen, pre-employment drug screen and physical which will be conducted upon acceptance of an offer.
