Job Summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of House Supervisor. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Assess and evaluate staffing patterns, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and other relevant data.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and staff satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care setting, with a strong background in leadership and supervision.
  • BSN required; MSN preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
