Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our IT ICS Security and Network Security group based in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will lead and innovate network security solutions, working closely with internal and external resources to design, deploy, standardize, maintain, and audit the industrial control systems (ICS) global network.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy network security solutions
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, implement, and enforce network security standards
Produce diagrams and documentations for large and complex network architectures
Resolve complex network and network security issues through network packet analysis

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
5 years experience in the network security field
Extensive knowledge in routing, switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN technologies, logging configurations, authentication methods, network access control, Netflow, TCP/IP, routing protocols, load balancing, and network design

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting international networks
Experience with scripting languages to automate workflows
Experience with designing secure connectivity for IIoT technologies and cloud networks
Knowledge of cyber security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS, and Mitre ATT&CK
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and ICS networking
Networking and/or Security Certifications are desirable such as CISSP, Cisco CCNP Security
