The Springs Events is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Landscape Maintenance Specialist.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hardworking and team-oriented individual to maintain the grounds and venue facility in a beautiful and functional state for clients and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute written work orders and verbal instructions from the General Manager.
  • Follow Event Day Checklists to ensure all necessary tasks are completed.
  • Maintain water features, including cleaning and pruning.
  • Ensure the irrigation system is functioning properly.
  • Repair fences, gates, walls, and walks as needed.
  • Mow and edge lawns, trim trees, and prune flowers.
  • Mulch flower beds and tree rings as needed.
  • Weed grass and flower beds.
  • Fertilize on a regular schedule and as needed.
  • Replace sod as needed.
  • Pick up trash around the grounds.
  • Assist the maintenance person in ensuring the grounds and facility are in great working order.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, and using appendages to accomplish various tasks. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics include occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, and potential exposure to fumes and airborne particles. The company provides training and Personal Protective Equipment for these types of exposures.
