Civil Engineer Opportunity

BB&E Inc. is a leading provider of civil engineering and environmental consulting services, offering a full spectrum of solutions for federal and industrial clients nationwide. As a Civil Engineer with our company, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including facilities design, construction, and maintenance for the Navy and other supported commands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional civil engineering support, services, and consultation for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities, including minor works projects, special projects, military construction, demolition, maintenance, space utilization, and facilities development.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, participating in conferences and working with other engineering and architectural disciplines to ensure system coordination and integration with specific project requirements.
  • Support a broad range of civil engineering projects, including site developments, roads, airfields, water supply systems, sewer systems, drainage, dredging, solid waste facilities, shore protection, and other large/industrial civil works, encompassing diverse climatic, geographic, and environmental conditions.

Requirements:

  • Broad professional knowledge and experience in civil engineering theories, concepts, principles, and practices for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of various shore-based engineering projects.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering or similar discipline is desired.
  • Experience in software and systems such as Whole Building Design Guide, AutoCAD, civil design/analysis software, Specs-In-Tact technologies, Autodesk software, Microsoft Office products, and DoD computer systems.
