Optical Care Specialist

The Eye Care Advisor role at EssilorLuxottica is a dynamic position that requires a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to providing high-quality optometric care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a seamless and personalized experience for our patients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and provide a warm welcome
Explain all required paperwork, tests, products, and services in a clear and concise manner
Review prescriptions and patient information carefully to identify special needs
Show patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients
Perform work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume
Identify situations involving unsatisfied customers and act quickly for resolution
Demonstrate knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operation/procedures
Handle and file all patient records in an organized and efficient manner in accordance with HIPAA
Place contact lens orders, process shipments, and properly submit invoices for payment
Operate the POS system terminal, inputting customer/patient and prescription information with accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent
Strong customer service skills (internal and external)
Knowledge of current fashion trends
Strong communicator and listener
Problem-solving ability
Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators
Organization skills
Sales skills
Strong basic math skills
Knowledge of office and store merchandise
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical
Strong interpersonal skills
