Hardware Qualification and Development Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Qualification and Development Support Specialist to join our team at Applied Materials, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in at least 2 R&D disciplines, including Optic, Electronic, Motion, and SEM. This role will involve supporting R&D module owners in the integration, calibration, and qualification of complex hardware components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support R&D module owners in the integration, calibration, and qualification of complex hardware components.
  • Qualify module performance to specifications.
  • Support R&D development activities, including design for manufacturability (C&F).

Lead Qualifications:

  • Lead the qualification of complex, non-system components.
  • Provide risk assessments.
  • Define and execute qualification plans.

Tool Owner Expertise:

Expertise in tool build and complex integration is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and qualifying full build books and full subsystem ATP tests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong technical expertise in at least 2 R&D disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
