The MEDIA PRODUCTION STUDENT ASSISTANT collaborates with full-time media services personnel to provide support for events in the areas of audio, video, and lighting, contributing approximately 5-20

HOURS PER WEEK

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(ADDITIONAL TASKS MAY BE ASSIGNED)

  • SUPPORT FULL-TIME PRODUCTION TEAM WITH EVENT OPERATIONS
  • MANAGE AND ASSIST WITH STUDENT EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT AND INVENTORY

AND RETURNS

  • PREPARE STUDIO ENVIRONMENT FOR VARIOUS EVENTS AS REQUIRED
  • ASSIST WITH STUDENT EDITING TASKS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BACKGROUND IN AUDIO, VIDEO, AND LIGHTING IS PREFERRED.

PROFICIENCY WITH EDITING SOFTWARE IS ESSENTIAL

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • RELIABLE
  • CAPABLE OF LIFTING AND MOVING UP TO 50 LBS TO A HEIGHT OF 6'
