Join Florida Polytechnic University as a Student Worker - Admissions Ambassador and be part of a dynamic team that supports the administrative and student recruiting operations.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of special events, such as campus tours and open houses.
- Support the Admissions Department with routine office functions, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
- Maintain current knowledge of all University rules, regulations, and procedures, and assist in disseminating information about Florida Polytechnic University.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Complete a current year, error-free and verified, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Demonstrate financial need, through completion of the FAFSA and review of current financial aid awards.
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress, as defined by Florida Polytechnic University.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
This position requires a criminal background check and is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.
The expected starting salary is $12.25 hourly, up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring terms, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer, as approved by the supervisor.
The position is open until filled.
