Your Role

As a GIS Technician, you will play a crucial role in our expanding operations. Your responsibilities will include generating operator maps utilizing ArcGIS Pro, extracting data from public and governmental resources, and contributing to Business Development initiatives that drive our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze information from public and governmental databases
  • Digitize and create detailed maps
  • Develop operator and density maps
  • Support Business Development projects
  • Conduct logistics data analysis
  • Maintain and update databases and dashboards

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience in GIS within the Oil and Gas, Midstream Logistics, or Land Management sectors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Skilled in ArcGIS Pro and Google Earth
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in data analysis
  • Familiarity with Python scripting and/or ArcGIS Modelbuilder
