Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator/Rigger to join our team at Arc Energy Services. As a Rigger, your primary responsibility will be to safely lift and move equipment and materials as needed for the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Rigging Equipment: Ensure that all rigging equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained to prevent accidents.
  • Install and Use Rigging Hardware: Install rigging hardware onto components and use power and hand tools to lift and move equipment and materials.
  • Perform Rigging Math Calculations: Determine if rigging slings are overloaded and take necessary actions to prevent accidents.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all site and company rules, regulations, and PPE requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Signal and Flagging: Signal and flag cranes both overhead and mobile to ensure safe operation.
Requirements
  • Industrial Rigging Experience: 3 years minimum of industrial rigging experience, with nuclear experience a plus.
  • Rigging Certification: Basic rigging certification, such as EPRI, NCCER, NCCCO, or equivalent.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 7 days/week, and perform field work in all areas of the job site, including climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolds at various heights.
  • Transportation and Travel: Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel extensively, working variable hours.
Working Conditions
  • Hot and Cold Conditions: Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals.
  • Confined Spaces: Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead.
