Adjunct Instructor

The Los Angeles Community College District is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Adjunct Instructor for Biological Sciences (Anatomy). This part-time faculty position will engage and educate students in a virtual learning environment using Canvas or other methods of remote learning.
Responsibilities- Teach Biological Sciences - Anatomy classes, promoting engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning.
- Collaborate with students, staff, faculty, and administrators to achieve academic and professional goals.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the district's academic standards and goals.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
- Master's degree in any biological science or related field.
- OR Bachelor's degree in any biological science and Master's degree in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science.
- OR Equivalent experience and education.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Competitive salary schedule for adjunct instructors, starting at $85.09 per standard hour, plus an office hour differential of $19.91 per hour for classroom assignments.
