Job Title: Agricultural Field Service Technician

C & B Operations, LLC is seeking a skilled Agricultural Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on agricultural equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment at customer locations
  • Use test equipment to analyze and evaluate problems, and make independent decisions when necessary
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge
  • Complete job notes and forms, and write service reports in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy of work orders and maintain current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
  • Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Conduct work in a manner that retains an excellent opinion of the company and the Service Department
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Associates or better in Diesel Technology or Certificate in Diesel Technology preferred but not required
  • Experience with computers a plus
  • Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions
  • Experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to agriculture, construction, off-road, or heavy equipment
  • Experience using test equipment and tools to analyze, evaluate, locate, and repair problems
  • Valid Driver's License and a safe driving record
