Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in an outpatient setting. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide psychiatric care to adolescents and their families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and emergency assessments, diagnostic clarification, and treatment recommendations for assigned clients.
  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings to discuss client progress and develop treatment plans.
  • Serve as a liaison with staff Medical Director, Clinical Director, and other treatment team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient encounters through weekly progress notes and other relevant documentation.
  • Assist with utilization reviews and provide cross-coverage to Psychiatry team cases as needed.
  • Maintain excellent communication with other members of the clinical team, outpatient providers, and family members.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or psychiatric APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) required.
  • Board Certified preferred.
  • Experience in child/adolescent and/or adult psychiatry required.
  • Licensed in the State for which you are applying required.
  • Experience in a residential setting preferred.
