Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents and be board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric care to residents/clients with mental or emotional problems
  • Conduct routine and emergency assessments, diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, and coordination of care
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team Meetings and serve as a liaison with staff Medical Director, Clinical Director, and other treatment team members
  • Document patient encounters through weekly progress notes in the EMR and complete discharge recommendation assessments as part of collaborative discharge summaries
  • Maintain excellent communication with other members of the clinical team, outpatient providers, and family members
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or psychiatric APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) required
  • Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred
  • Experience in child/adolescent and/or adult psychiatry required
  • Licensed in the State for which you are applying required
