As an Administrative Support Assistant at Northwell Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office/department. Your diverse set of clerical duties will encompass a range of tasks that require strong organizational and communication skills.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team members by performing tasks such as typing correspondence, reports, and articles; greeting and directing visitors; answering telephones and taking messages; scheduling appointments and meetings.
- File Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, including departmental files and patient records.
- Meeting Coordination: Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked department.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
