We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse/Delivery Associate to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of products, supplies, and cash to and from designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Withdraw and verify merchandise and supplies from the warehouse.
- Load products, supplies, mail, and cash onto company vehicles and transport them to designated locations.
- Unload trucks and distribute delivered items as instructed.
- Collect empty containers and unsold merchandise for return to the warehouse or disposal.
- Monitor product usage and make adjustments to control inventory turns.
- Ensure proper handling of perishable products and maintain refrigeration of food and beverages.
- Secure cash and property by locking unattended vehicles and securing funds in a locked safe.
- Unload and clean trash from vehicles and perform daily vehicle operative checks.
- Report vehicle problems and secure keys and vehicles.
- Previous experience with forklifts and power jacks is required.
- A valid driver's license is required based on the vehicle to be used.
