We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at a well-established forest product company in the Flathead Valley. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Shovel waste into a wheelbarrow and dispose of it by dumping it into waste conveyors
- Pick up scrap iron and garbage and place it in proper bins for disposal
- Use air hose nozzles to blow sawdust from areas including rafters, beams, and equipment
- Maintain a clean work area daily, clean up oil and water spills, use a broom to sweep floors, clean restrooms and lunchrooms
- Use a forklift to empty debris bins and use a bobcat to clear large piles
- Shovel snow in winter as necessary
- Occasionally assist with fire watch, filling in on production positions as needed, minor carpentry, and painting, and assist with outside clean-up
- Enjoy a 4/10 schedule with three-day weekends
- Competitive pay starting at $21.89/hour
