Job Responsibilities:

Conducts assessments/evaluations of individuals to determine their level of receptive/expressive speech and language skills, swallowing skills, and social/pragmatic skills. Develops, modifies, and implements individual and group therapy/treatment programs to enhance individuals' communication, address swallowing deficiencies, and prevent asphyxiation. Designs and delivers speech, language, and dysphagia management services, which may include hearing screenings, for individuals and/or groups. Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide professional insight and goal planning for treatment and care of individuals. Attends meetings, workshops, and seminars to improve/maximize professional skills and knowledge. Counsels/informs guardians/family members regarding speech-language, hearing, and/or swallowing issues.

Requirements:

Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Ohio per Section of revised code. The final candidate selected for the position will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination in accordance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Final Interim Rule and State of Ohio Administrative Policy HR-52.
