Job Summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality care to children and their families. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for screening, evaluating, and providing therapeutic interventions to patients with communication disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Completes speech screens and evaluations to assess patients' communication skills
  • Develops and implements individualized therapy plans to address patients' needs
  • Provides parent education and support to help families understand and address their child's communication needs
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Ohio license in Speech Pathology
  • Certification in Speech Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Previous pediatric experience desirable
