Senior Software Engineer, Security/Privacy, Google Cloud Security and Privacy

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Cloud Security and Privacy team, you'll play a critical role in developing the next-generation technologies that drive our mission forward.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for cloud security and privacy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices.
- Contribute to existing documentation and educational content, and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
- Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field, 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role, experience developing accessible technologies.
