About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Regulatory Counsel to join our Privacy team at Google. As a key member of our Global Affairs team, you will play a critical role in helping us innovate responsibly and comply with laws around the world.

As an Associate Regulatory Counsel, you will be responsible for interpreting laws and other compliance obligations, advising Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams on requirements, and providing legal advice on compliance programs and policies to help mitigate risk.

You will also manage government and regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness efforts. If you have a strong background in privacy law and a passion for working with technology companies, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret laws and other compliance obligations and advise Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams on requirements.
  • Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to help mitigate risk.
  • Manage government and regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness efforts.
What We Offer

At Google, we offer a competitive salary range of $195,000-$293,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
