Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Health Services team at Cumberland County School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the medical status of students during the school day and providing medical procedures as ordered by the physician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor students' medical status and enter medical information into EZ Ed Med.
  • Provide and/or assist with medical procedures as ordered by the physician.
  • Observe skin for bed sores and provide personal care needs during the day.
  • Administer medication prescribed by a physician.
  • Notify Health Services Director or Lead Nurse of changes in student's health status.
  • Perform special procedures as directed.
  • Serve as a team player and role model for other employees.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited LPN program, be licensed by the NC Board of Nursing, and have experience in pediatrics. Must be able to physically perform basic life operational functions and have finger dexterity.
