About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to promote patient health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices, laws, and regulations that govern healthcare.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
