About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Postdoctoral Clinical Psychologist to join our team at ABS Kids. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations for children aged 2-17 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations to assess children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Develop and implement evaluation strategies to identify children's strengths and areas of need.
  • Administer standardized assessment protocols to gather data on children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Formulate diagnostic conclusions based on collected data and provide clear, concise recommendations to caregivers.
  • Communicate effectively with caregivers, community partners, and treatment providers to ensure seamless referrals and transitions.
  • Participate in clinical case study meetings to discuss complex cases and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the psychology team to ensure high-quality care and support for children and families.

Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD degree in clinical psychology.
  • Current licensure or certification as a psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably in a clinical or research setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
