Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our rehabilitation team at Wellington Health and Rehab. As a Contract RN, you will play a vital role in providing total care for our residents, including monitoring their condition and needs, administering medications and treatments, and overseeing the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting resident information
- Oversee the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure that resident care plans are being followed
- Complete documentation, including admitting and discharging residents, and reporting any changes in their condition
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues
- Kansas RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
This Contract RN position works full-time, scheduled 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
