Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellington Endoscopy Center. As a member of our perioperative team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physician orders and provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes and patient safety
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide seamless care transitions and ensure continuity of care
  • Assist physicians in the procedure rooms as needed, utilizing sterile technique and conscious sedation
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to prepare them for discharge
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure in the state
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU
  • Critical care or PACU experience preferred
