We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellington Endoscopy Center. As a member of our perioperative team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Implement physician orders and provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes and patient safety
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide seamless care transitions and ensure continuity of care
- Assist physicians in the procedure rooms as needed, utilizing sterile technique and conscious sedation
- Provide education and support to patients and families to prepare them for discharge
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure in the state
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU
- Critical care or PACU experience preferred
