Job Opportunity

Delta-T Group is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to provide support to children in various settings, including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working with a diverse student population and a minimum of one year of experience working with students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to teachers by helping students with challenges outlined in their IEP assessment
  • Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom
  • Meet and instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times
  • Effectively maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning
  • Use positive verbal and non-verbal skills to enhance learning
  • Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and parent/guardian information
  • Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and School Board policies
Requirements
  • Committed to working with a diverse student population
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with students
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience working with students
  • Great team player with solid time management skills
