Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Jordan Schnitzer on strategic planning for the art collection and exhibition initiatives.
  • Oversee a dedicated team of 11 professionals responsible for acquisitions, exhibition documentation, and the execution of a dynamic exhibition schedule.
  • Build and nurture relationships with galleries, museums, publishers, and artists to enhance our art program.
  • Manage the operations of the Jordan Schnitzer Family Art Program, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
  • Administer the annual budget and ensure effective financial controls are in place.
  • Facilitate community outreach and promote the visibility of our art initiatives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Significant experience in an art museum or similar organization, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of current trends and challenges in the museum sector.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
