Role Summary
The Night Operations Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing the member experience by delivering outstanding customer service to all Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This position is vital for maintaining a consistent and welcoming environment during overnight hours. Responsibilities include closing the day’s operations and upholding the cleanliness standards of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including:
    • Front Desk & BCM Spa
    • Gym equipment and workout areas
    • Locker rooms
  • Manage front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries in a friendly manner.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Assisting with new member registrations.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as necessary.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when required.
  • Collaborate with day shift and overnight support teams to ensure smooth club operations.
Qualifications
  • Must demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with members and colleagues.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and health.
  • Positive and upbeat demeanor.
  • Current CPR/AED certification is a plus.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve issues.
  • Ability to communicate diplomatically in all interactions.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing and walking during shifts.
  • Regular communication in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to cleaning agents during shifts.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position with flexible scheduling, including potential shifts from Monday through Sunday during overnight hours.
