Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sushi Prep to join our team at our Washington, DC location. As a Sushi Prep, you will be responsible for preparing and providing fresh, tasty, and quality food to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook sushi and other Japanese dishes to the highest standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge of sushi preparation and presentation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness.
