Job Title: Registered Nurse

Virtua is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual care needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions and regimes, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Delegate and monitor care rendered by other members of the nursing department and healthcare team.
  • Maintain professional and departmental level competencies, staying up-to-date with current nursing practices and standards.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid NJ RN License and demonstrate knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
