Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in gastroenterology and a passion for delivering patient-centered care. You will work closely with our gastroenterology team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of gastrointestinal conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients with gastrointestinal conditions
  • Work collaboratively with our gastroenterology team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies and biopsies, to inform patient care decisions
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed to manage patient conditions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a gastroenterology setting
