Chicago Transit Authority Customer Service Role

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative I to join our team at the Chicago Transit Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our external and internal customers, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting a positive image for the Authority.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide information, problem-solving, and advocacy for mass transit consumers via inbound telephone calls.
- Develop general knowledge of department policies, CTA rule books, maps, schedules, products, and services.
- Participate in coaching sessions, training, and testing to achieve goals and maintain current organizational knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; college preferred.
- Ability to speak, write, and comprehend English and Spanish proficiently.
- Minimum 1 year of previous Call Center experience.
- Subject to background and credit investigations.
