Furniture Sales Lead Job Description

As a Furniture Sales Lead at Big Lots, you will be responsible for driving furniture sales and leading the furniture team to achieve sales and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the furniture team to achieve sales and operational goals
  • Develop and implement furniture merchandising and presentation standards
  • Provide clear work direction and coaching to furniture sales team members
  • Assist customers with product information, selection, and purchase
  • Manage the price hold process and maintain furniture department inventory
  • Identify furniture display needs and develop plans for furniture department coverage during special events
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum one-year retail sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated furniture merchandising and sales skills preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
