Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive case reviews to ensure proper care levels, length of stay, and resource utilization.
  • Educate medical staff on compliance, documentation, and care standards through ongoing education and training.
  • Collaborate closely with attending physicians and healthcare teams to enhance patient care plans and address quality issues.
  • Serve as a liaison with payers to streamline approvals and address denials effectively.
  • Assist in enhancing clinical documentation for precise coding and accurate data representation.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives to identify and address factors impacting patient care quality, safety, and satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
  • Five years of clinical experience.
  • An established Florida medical license as a Physician.
  • Board certification in a trained specialty.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex information.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • More than five years of clinical work experience in a hospital setting.
  • One or more years of experience as a Physician Advisor.
  • Certification as a Certified Physician Executive (CPE).
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and advanced communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
