Job Description

The successful applicant will have a strong familiarity and involvement with the Choral Area at Ithaca College, with a focus on music performance and education studies. They will consult regularly with the Director of Choral Activities and Choral Area faculty to support choral activities in the following capacities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent attendance and participation in choral ensembles and performances.
  • Communicate effectively with ensembles regarding music, scheduling, events, and participation.
  • Record accurate attendance for ensembles as assigned.
  • Act as a liaison between students and professors.
  • Organize information related to other student leadership opportunities.
  • Organize information related to choral concert programming.
  • Support the Ithaca College Choral Composition Competition and Festival, generating correspondence between the Director of Choral Activities and all interested parties.
Requirements
  • Strong familiarity with the Choral Area at Ithaca College.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students and faculty.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
