Job Description

The successful applicant will have a strong familiarity and involvement with the Choral Area at Ithaca College. They will consult regularly with the Director of Choral Activities and Choral Area faculty to support choral activities in the following capacities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent attendance and participation in choral ensembles and performances, ensuring seamless communication with ensemble members and faculty.
  • Act as a liaison between students and professors, facilitating a smooth exchange of information and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Organize information related to student leadership opportunities and choral concert programming, ensuring a well-planned and executed schedule.
  • Attend to the organizational details surrounding the Ithaca College Choral Composition Competition and Festival, generating correspondence between the Director of Choral Activities and all interested parties.

The successful applicant will interview with Choral Area faculty and will be expected to respond to discussion prompts on optimal work ethic, dependability, and feasible areas of administrative assistance to the Choral Area.
