Vaco Boston Partners with Client to Hire Regulatory Specialist

Our client, a leading company in the food industry, is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in food regulatory knowledge, including food label graphics reviews and ingredient compliance checks, as well as knowledge of 21 CFR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve formulas and ingredients for compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Analyze product formulations to ensure compliance with labeling regulations
  • Create final label content, including substantiated claims, compliant nutrition facts, and ingredient statements
  • Review finished product labels for accuracy and compliance
  • Provide support for regulatory data maintenance projects
Requirements:
  • University degree in a scientific field, such as Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Toxicology
  • Regulatory experience in the food industry, with a minimum of 6 months to 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs
  • Working knowledge of U.S. FDA labeling regulations as published in 21 CFR Parts 1-199
  • Technical skills in software applications, including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Optiva
