Position Overview

nTech Solutions, Inc. is looking for two skilled CAD Drafters to enhance our mapping and documentation services division. In this role, you will be instrumental in producing and maintaining engineering drawings utilizing CAD software, specifically GTech and Microstation. You will work collaboratively with a team of 45 professionals, including engineers and fellow drafters, to support innovative designs and improve utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing precise drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications from engineers, architects, or designers.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to comprehend project requirements and specifications.
  • Updating existing drawings to reflect design changes and modifications.
  • Ensuring compliance of drawings with industry standards and regulations.
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
  • Creating both 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.
  • Conducting calculations and measurements to guarantee the accuracy of drawings.
  • Organizing and maintaining drawing files and associated documentation.
  • Coordinating with project team members to ensure timely completion of drawings.
  • Providing support during the construction or manufacturing phase by clarifying drawings and supplying additional information as required.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of drafting principles and practices, along with proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
