Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to children and families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care for our pediatric patients.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a current RN license in the state of Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- One year of experience in pediatric nursing, with a strong understanding of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
