Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in our intensive care unit, utilizing your expertise to ensure the highest level of care and quality of life for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in our intensive care unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to deliver high-quality care, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient's age-specific needs and clinical needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Current RN licensure in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in pediatric critical care nursing preferred.
