Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Bookkeeper Coordinator at PSQ Productions, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our company's financial records and assisting the Director of Finance in generating financial reports, most of which are project-based and integral to the events produced by PSQ Productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for PSQ Productions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and support in preparing financial reports. Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data.
- Track and categorize expenses related to events, such as equipment rental, catering, and travel, ensuring they are properly allocated in the accounting system.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card statements to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the presentation of project-based reports using moderate Excel skills, particularly in pivot tables.
- Coordinate new and recurring vendor contracts to ensure that contracts are completed in a timely manner. Ensure that vendor insurance is obtained and remains in compliance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a staff accountant or admin, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Enterprise and moderate Excel skills, including pivot tables.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
Compensation:$70,000 - $75,000 per year, plus benefits.
