Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental requirements and state and specialty standards.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patients receiving respiratory therapy and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
Requirements
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP), or State Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
