Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Specialist to join our team at Metric Geo. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing project schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget;
- Conduct thorough site reviews to assess project viability and identify potential risks;
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans;
- Manage relationships with government agencies, utility companies, and other external partners;
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed;
- Prepare and review bid packages, recommending contractors and negotiating final contracts and change orders;
- Oversee the platting and final project approval process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations;
- Monitor and report budget performance quarterly, identifying areas for improvement;
- Lead all design, approval, permitting, and bidding processes for project amenities;
- Conduct on-site inspections, manage turnovers, and participate in final walkthroughs;
- Manage NPDES/SWPPP compliance, customer site design feedback, and invoice approvals;
- Supervise third-party property managers and participate in HOA meetings if needed;
- Conduct business professionally to enhance customer satisfaction and company reputation;

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, urban planning);
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in land development or a related field;
- Proven track record of successful project management and delivery;
- Strong communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities;
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software;

The estimated salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year.
